| Why choose Southern Africa as your wedding destination. |

Why would anyone choose to get married in South
Africa? First of all you can almost guarantee
sunny warm weather as we have 300 sunny days in
the year. South Africa remains one of the most
popular wedding destinations in the world. The
tumbling exchange rate means that your pounds,
dollars and euros can buy you a wedding that
makes the luxurious affordable and a honeymoon
that will be above and beyond your dreams! South
Africa is geared up to tourists and tourism in
general so it is a very "user-friendly" place to
visit. The banking system is sophisticated.
Telecommunications are advanced and are under
improvement all the time, particularly in the
light of the 2010 Soccer World Cup that is taking
place here. The planning of your wedding would
pose no problem as there are any number of
wedding planners working independently or on
behalf of some beautiful venues who would be able
to assist you with making your big day a reality.
The next decision to make is where to have your
wedding? You may wish to take your wedding party
of friends and family on a holiday with you,
getting married and then having an African
Holiday while you are in this part of the world.
There are so many gorgeous venues that could
accommodate your party exclusively, where you
could have the wedding ceremony and honeymoon,
either in the African bush or on a gorgeous
tropical beach, or you could combine the two
experiences. You will be spoilt for choice.
There is another option that is gaining in
popularity and that could also be incorporated in
your plans and that is a golf safari holiday.
There are some spectacular golf estates and
courses throughout South Africa and these are
close enough to other attractions so that if
there are those in your party who would rather
game view, go to the beach or shop, then that is
what they could do!
Don't forget the options for the extreme sports
lovers who want to tie the knot! There are
mountaineering and hiking destinations. Or there
is white water rafting, kayaking and spectacular
desert dune surfing. For the surfers and board
riders our coastline has endless beaches, from
Cape Town to Jeffrey's Bay, Durban and further
north. If diving and snorkeling are your thing,
there is the destination for you. How does
snorkeling on a coral reef on a subtropical beach
in Mozambique sound, or diving off the Natal
Coast in Sodwana Bay? The possibilities are
endless! |
